Preceptors of Advaita
I think Bikshadana Moorthy who is showing the mudra, Adho muka (facing downwards) with two fingers is Chinmudra. On one hand of Bikshadana moorthy, a small deer with its two legs lifted up will be standing. It will be as if it is looking at HIS Chinmudra. 'See here , i have something for you to eat is another interpretation. It will also look like HE is showing a grass to the deer . It can also be interpreted as I have something for you . Thus there are so many moorthis.
- Jagadguru Sri Chandrasekarendra Saraswathi Mahaswamiji
