Events at Kalavai & Chennai Camps

Kalavai Camp
The Yajur Vedaparayanam which was being done for the last 30 days got completed today. This programme was led by VGS Ganapadigal, Raju Vadhyar and Prakash along with other 8 Vedic Pandits. They were all blessed by His Holiness Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal and special sambhavanas including rudrakshamalas, spatika malas, vasthrams, gold rings, gold thodas and ample dakshinas were distributed to these ganapadigals. In addition Special Homams were also conducted. Lectures on Dharma Sastra and Ithihasas like Ramayanam were also delivered.

The Aradhana of Sri Chandra Sekharendra Saraswathi Swamigal VI, 66th Peetathipathi of Kamakoti Peetam (whose Adhishtanam is located at Kalavai) was conducted today. Hundreds of devotees participated in these events.

Chennai Camp
The Yajur Veda Parayanam was completed today (this was being done for last 30 days). Professor Pasupathi gave lectures on Thiruvilaiyadal puranam for the second day as part of a series of lectures. Children of all communities participated in recital of slokas and Sivapuranam in Tamil. �Abasuram� Ramji organized a concert of �mazhaliar izai� where children rendered carnatic music. Devotees are visiting the temple in a steady stream daily, attend the events and get the blessings of His Holiness.
