Yati Mahalayam performed

His Holiness Pujya Shri Jayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamigal and His Holiness Pujya Shri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamigal arrived at the Kamakshi Kalyana Mandapam in the evening on 8th. Kanchi Acharyas were received with Purnakumbham. The place was the venue for Srimatam Camp in connection with the Yati Mahalayam ceremony.
Earlier in the evening Srimatam camp left Adayapalam village in the evening at 4 PM and arrived at the Kalyana Mandapam 5.30 pm. Kanchi Acharyas were seated on the dais of the newly constructed "Jayendram Open Auditorium". Various events from Vedic prayer, Mangala Vadyam onwards began in their divine presence. Shri Dhamal Ramakrishnan spoke about Guru Bhakti, Shri Udayalur Kalyanarama Bhagavathar sang Bhajans in Hindi, Music concerts & upanyasams took place. His Holiness Shri Periyava blessed with Anugrahabhashanam.

9th October
The Yati Mahalayam consisting of 108 Dandi Sanyasis was held at the Kamakshi Kalyana Mandapam premises. As per the divine directions of His Holiness Shri Periyava, every year, the Yati Mahalayam consisting of 108 Dandi Sanyasis is being held in the Mokshapuris. In the previous year, it was held in Ujjain. The teertha narayana puja concluded at 12.30 pm.Their Holiness then arrived at Srimatam and the Deeparadhana & Teertha Narayana Puja was held in the Adhishthanam.
In the Srimatam camp, music concerts & bhajans begun from morning 8 am and went on till 12.30pm. The performers included TN Krishnan on the violin. The evening Friday puja commenced at 7.15 PM and concluded at 10.30 PM.
