36th Jayanthi - Prayers offered
As part of the 36th Jayanthi of HH Pujyasri Sankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamiji, Surya Namaskaram, Lalitha Sahasranama Parayanam, Ganapathi Homam, Navagraha Homam, Ayusha Homam, Pavamana Homam and Maharudra Japa Homam was performed at the Lakshmi Kamakshi Nilayam. Special Abhishekam and haratis was performed to Sri Kamakshi Amman in the morning. Temple prasadams from various states were offered to His HOliness. Abhishekam was performed to His Holiness with Sanctified water. Several Vedic Scholars and students were honoured with Swarna(Gold) and Silver Vilva Daanam
In the evening, a Vidwat Sadas was held in which various sanskrit scholars participated. Tiru Vilakku Puja(Deepa Puja) was also performed by ladies. Various other cultural and devotional programmes were held in the evening.
