Pujya Shankaracharya Swamigal’s arrival at Andhra Pradesh

His Holiness arrived at Andhra Pradesh border on 28/6/2022 at about 10 PM (200 kms) after leaving Dundigal Camp in Hyderabad Telangana at 2:45 PM in the afternoon. His Holiness was received with Purnakumbha Swagatham by a gathering of Veda Pandits from Kanakadurga Devasthanam, Endowment Department officials, government officers and general public on the border.
Earlier enroute to Balusupadu village, Andhra Pradesh, His Holiness visited Chityala Venugopala Swamy Temple on a hillock and blessed Bhoomi Puja for Shankara Math in the foothills. His Holiness then visited a Prahlada Varada Narasimha Swamy Goshala in Nalgonda and arrived at Kodad. Kodad is a border town in Telangana. His Holiness addressed a public gathering in which the importance of events during upcoming Chaturmasya Vratam was highlighted. His Holiness reached Srimatam Camp at Balusupadu village at 11:30 PM after receiving Deepa Harathis of waiting villagers in every street of the village.

Sri Kottu Satyanarayana Garu, Hon’ble Deputy CM & Endowments Minister, Sri Anil Kumar Singhal IAS, Principal Secretary, Sri Dr. M Hari Jawaharlal, IAS Commissioner, and other officials visited Srimatam camp to welcome His Holiness to Andhra Pradesh and held detailed discussion about Dharma Prachara Karyakramas in the state. After Puja His Holiness visited Venakeshwara Swamy Devalayam in Kakatiya Cement & Sugars factory in Jaggiahpet and Ramalayam in Balusupadu. His Holiness arrived back to Srimatam camp and performed third Kala Puja.
