Activities at Kanchi Sankara Math -
Ayodhya Branch
The Sankara Math at Ayodhya acts as a centre for spiritual and social welfare.
A Veda Pathashala is functioning at the Math in which about 20 students are pursuing Vedic Studies in the Shukla Yajur Vedam shakha.
As part of social welfare programmes, a six-month course on tailoring, embroidery and painting classes are conducted for the local people free of cost. About 15 batches of people have benefitted from these classes.

Update on recent happenings:
With the Blessings of their Holinesses Pujyasri Jayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamiji and Pujyasri Sankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamiji, a series of programmes were held recently at Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam Shri Shankara Matham, Ayodhya.
* A Vruksharopan programme was held in the Math in which several trees were planted in the premises. This programme was attended by the Regional Conservator of Forests, Sarayu region, Uttar Pradesh.
* A new borewell has been installed at the entrance of the Math to provide water for Pilgrims and Sevarthis. This project has received support from the local MLA welfare fund.
* Sangeetha Seva Karyakram:
Sangeet Sandhya - A sangeetha Seva Karyakram was held at the Matham.
