Agnihotra Sadas held at Shrimatham 21-23 Sep. 2018

With the grace of Their Holinesses Pujyasri Shankaracharya Swamijis of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam a Sadas (congregation) of Agnihotries from across India was conducted at Srimatham, Kanchipuram for three days. Their Holinesses of Kanchi strongly believe that the pursuit of performance of the Agnihotra and the associated Yagnas protect one and all and hence this Sadas is a very important activity that Srimatham is associated with Year after Year. This Sadas is the 14th annual Sadas.
Every day, the Sadas is comprised of two sessions - one in the morning and one in the evening, spanning over 2 hours each, in the divine presence of the Acharya. The sessions involved intense discussions on the understanding and interpretation of the details of the Vedic Injunction proceedings as stated in the texts called Sutras(methodologies) of various Rishis of the yore.
On the concluding day, His Holiness Pujyashri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswati Shankaracharya Swamigal blessed the Agnihotries with Anughraha Bhashanam and Sambhavana.
