With the blessings of the almighty and the divine grace of Their Holinesses Pujyasri Jayendra Saraswathi Sankaracharya Swamiji and Sankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Sankaracharya Swamiji, Sri Veda Dharma Shastra Paripalana Sabha, Kumbakonam(Estd. 1942) conducted a 4-day VEDA SAMMELAN at Triplicane Benefit Fund Kalyana Mandapam, 15, Singachari Street, Triplicane, Chennai - 5, from 18th to 21st July 2010(Adi Month 2nd to 5th).

From the 18th to 20th July, the daily schedule commenced at 7.30 am with Sri Veda Vyasa Puja. Rig, Yajur and Sama Veda Parayanam was performed from 8 to 11.30 am and from 3 to 5 pm. Discourses were given by eminent scholars in the evening from 7 pm to 8.30 pm every evening.

On the 21st, Aavahanti Homam was performed for Loka Kshema. Devotees participated in the programmes and receive the blessings of the Almighty and Pujyasri Acharya Swamijis.
